Israel's regional standing ahead of the UN General assembly
The 72nd Regular Session of the UN General Assembly convened earlier this week at the world body's Headquarters in New York city, with world leaders scheduled to arrive for the General Debate, which is scheduled to open next week, on the 19th of September. This year's theme is dubbed 'Focusing on People: Striving for Peace and a Decent Life for All on a sustainable Planet', yet as in previous years: the focus of world leaders will be on combating the global threat of terrorism, among other imminent challenges.
